A walk in Glossop.

Today Jen and I caught a train to Glossop. We walked from the train station past the couple of layers of houses to open land, with signs which warned us of grazing livestock and due caution in regards to gate closure. We walked up an avenue of dry stone walls to a hilltop which overlooked fields and the town of Glossop. It was still and beautiful, calming and exciting. It was better than art. Being there reminded me of how much I love to walk and to be on and amongst safe nature, although there was still the chance of a fall or a slip.

I didn't think about the presentation, instead about the stupid city and its rubbish business. The information blitz and teeming contradictions that pop up so readily in that environment were given a distance, I laughed and enjoyed the simplicity of the situation. I will revisit Glossop.
